Organisations, users and permissions
Structure organisations, invite users, assign roles and manage direct access.
Understand the hierarchy
All organisations belong to the platform hierarchy. A reseller organisation can manage child organisations within its quotas. Creating another root organisation is not offered.
Create a user
From Users or an organisation's details:
- choose Create user;
- enter identity and email;
- select language and time zone;
- assign only the required roles;
- optionally add tags.
When creation starts from organisation details, cancelling or completing the journey returns to that organisation.
Roles and scope
Roles determine available actions. The user's organisation defines the normal scope. A platform administrator can also add a user to Direct access for another organisation without changing their main organisation.
Tags
Start typing a tag. Existing tags are suggested immediately. If the label does not exist, a Create tag action appears after a short pause; Enter remains available to create it immediately when your permissions allow it.
Quotas
Authorised administrators can configure bot and child organisation quotas. 0 means that no specific limit is applied. When a quota is reached, creation journeys are disabled in the portal and rejected in the same way by the API.
